WHY? :: I stumbled across 'Shotgun Opera' quite by accident a few months ago while hunting for textures. In a serious funk with my art, I started clicking on random affiliates-of-my-affiliates looking for inspiration from other arty-places.
From there, I found Shotgun Opera and pretty much fell in love with Sasha's style. Her Damon Salvatore wallpaper graced my desktop for possibly the longest a wallpaper has ever graced it and I generally died of squee when she posted a Bonnie/Damon layout. (Wheee!)
We became affiliates around October-time, Sasha and I, from when I continued to covet her art like a mad thing.
From her artworks to her layouts to her icons and fiction, she is well-deserving of title 'Site of the Month/Moment'. =)
